We start from the process
Before anything is designed, we sit with the work as it happens now and measure where the time actually goes. Often the answer is not where the client expected.
We ship something usable early
A narrow version that goes into real use beats a complete specification that has never met a user. We would rather correct course in week three than month nine.
We stay after the launch
Software that automates a process needs maintenance as the process changes. We plan for that from the start rather than treating it as a surprise.
